Where do dreams come from? Where is the universe?

Where do dreams come from?

Where is the universe?

How would you answer a five-year old philosopher? My daughter is asking the big questions (usually on crowded train journeys so I feel the whole carriage is waiting to see how I’ll answer her).

What is energy?

Did someone make up all the people, what they look like and how they are? (when I asked her about this last question it turned out she was asking, How did humanity come into existence?)

I did my best (and the questions keep coming!) Definitely on the lookout for a good (non-religious) kid’s book that address these types of questions though! And I’ve ordered a book of world religions and an illustrated encyclopaedia for back-up 🙂

Thanks for your sharing about your daughter, and especially lucid dreaming !!!

May I suggest Bashar, channelled by Darryl Anka, who has brought me ” non religious, but spiritual ” knowledge and

intelligent, coherent, answers to many of these questions ….

and also Kryon ( these particular mp3’s ), whom I don’t know as well :

Thanks again for all you do !!!

    Hi Antony,
thanks so much for these suggestions! I’ll check them out. I think nobody really knows the answers to these big questions but it’s always fascinating to think about them. My daughter’s latest question is: How did language come into existence? (She phrased it, ‘Who said we all have to talk?’ and after some clarification I realised this was what she was actually asking).
So nice to see a young child questioning things and being so curious about the world 🙂

The part about the difference beetewn the lucid dream and the astral projection caught my attention. I have had about 5 lucid dreams in my life. The first one by accident and the rest by effort. You seem to think that an astral projection is different than lucid dreaming as do many people. However I posed this question before and it met with anger and no reasoning what so ever. I asked a person to have someone place an item in a box and the astral projector tell what the item is. Simple
