The other week I was interviewed by Emma Farrell, one of the organisers of the Gateways of the Mind event coming up in London on 9th/10th November. I’ll be speaking there about creative lucid dreaming and I’m really looking forward to meeting all the other speakers and participants.
In my dreams I turn into animals and now I’ve started painting these experiences, does this count as creative dreaming?? if you are interested I can give more details, I read you are looking for dreams for your new book, thanks Cee-cee
You asked at the PsyberDreaming Conference about dreams that impacted creativity. That’s my life story, Clare. At the risk of overloading you on material, my stories posted online here (http://dreamdeer.grailmedia.com/tilian/allindex.html) are ALL based on dreams. At the lower lefthand corner of each chapter or story, you will see a button labeled “Dream Notes” This will tell you about the dream origins of each.
Since you are doing research I will give you the link to my private notes (still a work in progress–I have not gone very far but I usually add to it frequently except during the conference) which contains much that has not gone public, not yet organized into fiction form, and which might never make it to fiction form. I’m building this private online archive because I’ve already lost some stuff from damaged paper files or computer glitches.
I hope you find this helpful. Feel free to ask me questions.
Hi Cee-cee,
those definitely sound like creative dreams to me! I’ll be in touch via email, thanks for writing,
Clare
Hi Dolores,
thanks for coming forward and being willing to share your vast experience with dreams and creativity! I look forward to following the links you sent and thanks again for your trust.
